Some things land differently when you hear them

Voice reaches places that text sometimes can’t

Because the nervous system listens before the mind interprets.

It bypasses the effort of reading, the habit of analyzing, the impulse to stay alert.

When you listen, especially while resting your eyes or letting your body settle, information arrives in a different way.

Slower.

Deeper.

Less filtered.

Reflections on nervous system patterns, intimacy, adaptation, and the subtle ways we organize ourselves in order to belong, function, or stay safe.

Often, hearing these ideas spoken allows you to notice your own responses more clearly, where your body tightens, softens, resists, or exhales.

This is also why all of the books in the I AWAKE series include guided audio practices.

Reading engages the mind.

Listening allows the body to participate.

The voice you hear is Camilla Wellton’s. She created the Sensual hero’s journey™ framework, wrote all the books in the series and founded the Sensual institute.

She also created all the music you find in the I Awake audio guided material.

If something painful happens and you can't fall apart

There’s a kind of tired that doesn’t come from doing too much...

When was the last time last time you let yourself stay with a feeling without adjusting it?
