May 22 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm
The Motherhole hosts this gathering. It has three realms: Eros, Mother and Crone.
This is a Mother gathering.
Mother is not an identity you add.
It is a rearrangement.
Your body rearranges.
Your time rearranges.
Your relationships rearrange.
And sometimes your loyalty rearranges too.
Mother is not only love.
It is conflict.
Theme of the gathering
There is a moment in motherhood no one prepares you for.
When you realise you cannot be everything at once.
Not fully mother.
Not fully partner.
Not fully yourself.
Something splits.
You love your child.
And you miss your life.
You show up.
And you fantasise about leaving.
You are devoted.
And you are resentful.
Both are true.
This gathering is for women who feel divided inside motherhood.
Not burnt out.
Divided.
Pulled between who you were and who you are required to be.
Pulled between responsibility and desire.
Pulled between closeness and suffocation.
We are not here to resolve the split.
We are here to look at it without pretending it doesn’t exist.
What we will do
This is a structured, guided gathering. The focus is articulation.
We create a contained space where you can examine the internal conflicts that motherhood brought into your life.
You will write in response to precise prompts.
You will reflect before speaking but you will not be speaking your thoughts, you’ll be voicing those from another in the group. How? Come and find out! All you need to know is that it works, it’s very liberating and feels extremely safe, we promise!
You do not need to defend your love.
You do not need to apologise for your frustration.
You do not need to justify wanting space.
We hold complexity without simplifying it.
No fixing.
No advice.
No comparison.
Just women speaking from inside the split.
The focus of the evening
We explore parts of motherhood that are rarely spoken about directly:
• loving your child and missing your old self
• resentment that coexists with devotion
• sexual withdrawal after becoming a mother
• the strain on partnership
• the fantasy of escape
• the pressure to feel fulfilled
• the quiet fear that you made the wrong choice
This is not about being a good mother.
It is about being a whole woman.
Many women carry the split in silence because they believe admitting it makes them ungrateful or unstable.
This gathering offers a space where contradiction is allowed.
Where devotion and doubt can sit in the same body.
The Motherhole
The Motherhole.
The first gate.
The original opening.
The Motherhole is the place where life arrives, where identity fractures, where something that was once yours becomes a passage for others.
And then, one day, becomes yours again.
The Motherhole gatherings are not events. They are encounters.
Spaces where women come to speak from inside what actually happened, and what is happening now.
Not to be fixed.
Not to be guided.
Not to be improved.
But to be heard.
Each Motherhole gathering follows a shared method.
Not because one method fits all, but because experience needs holding in order to move.
We work with words, bodies, breath, and sound.
Sometimes with silence.
Sometimes with meditation.
Sometimes through writing.
Sometimes through reading and voicing.
Sometimes through movement or stillness.
Not everything happens every time.
But always a shared speaking at the end.
Nothing is forced.
You can speak.
You can stay quiet.
You can pass.
Listening counts.
The structure holds the room so experience can move, without being explained, fixed, or turned into a performance.
The Motherhole has three realms
Eros
The realm of desire.
Of appetite.
Of what still wants you.
Sex. Rage. Hunger. Refusal.
The pull toward life that never went quiet.
Enter Eros if something in you is awake and restless.
Mother
The realm of cost.
Of responsibility.
Of what life required of you.
Birth. Care. Loss of self.
The moment you became a passage.
Enter Mother if your life split in two and never fully rejoined.
Crone
The realm of ownership.
Of what you no longer give away.
No more passage for life.
No more explanation.
Menopause. Authority. Clarity.
The moment you stop bleeding and start leading yourself.
