The power of a Mother April 10 2026 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Motherhood is not a choice you make once. It’s a condition you enter. After that, nothing belongs to you in the same way.

This workshop is for women who became mothers and realised that no one really warned them what it would cost.

Not the sleep.

Not the identity.

Not the way responsibility settles into the bones.

We talk about:

  • the moment life stopped being hypothetical
  • the body that was opened, entered, changed
  • the self that didn’t make it through intact
  • the love that is absolute and still not enough to make it easy

You don’t have to dress this up.

You don’t have to be grateful.

You don’t have to explain yourself.

We name what happened.

How the gathering works

We work in a small, contained group with clear structure.

We move between:

  • blunt prompts
  • writing that doesn’t have to be pretty
  • speaking in the group
  • listening without interruption or advice

You can pass at any time.

Silence is allowed.

Listening counts.

We don’t fix motherhood.

We don’t optimise it.

We let it speak.

About The Motherhole

The Motherhole holds space for women to speak from lived experience.

It holds three realms: Mother, Erotic, and Crone.

Not as identities to perform, but as realities that shape the body, desire, and sense of self over time.

The Motherhole is about what happens after life enters you.

After motherhood rearranges you. After desire changes.

After the cycle ends and something sharpens instead of fades.

Here, we don’t aim for healing, empowerment, or transformation. We aim for honesty.

We gather in small groups to talk, write, listen, and witness each other without fixing, analysing, or correcting.

Some speak. Some listen.

Both are participation.

The Motherhole is not therapy. It is not spirituality. It is not performance.

It is a place to say what is usually edited out, and to hear yourself clearly in the presence of others.
