A characterful 18 m² studio at Tavastgatan 43. The bamboo can come down. The atmosphere stays.
Perhaps a session begins with conversation and moves to the floor. Perhaps a small group needs to move between gentle movement, rest and reflection. The studio can be arranged around what actually happens.
Mattresses, bolsters and blankets offer different ways to use the floor. The sound system is available for guided practice, voice and music. We agree which elements you need and how much space each participant requires.
You do not need to rebrand your practice to hire the room. Tell us about your approach and practical needs. We can begin with a viewing, a single session or a conversation about a recurring slot.
Interested in teaching with the Institute too? We are exploring a regular programme. A class aligned with our work on sensual capacities, consent and embodied learning may be the beginning of a different kind of collaboration.
18 m² at Tavastgatan 43, Södermalm. Five bamboo suspension stations can be taken down for other layouts. Floor-covering mattresses are available on request, with four bolsters, four natural-fibre blankets and ventilation.
The room also has a four-speaker sound system with bass, a small mixer, wireless microphones, a gong and a large singing bowl. Tell us what you need; we will agree the setup before your visit. Group size depends on the activity and arrangement. For recording, check sound conditions in advance.

Somatic coaches, movement and voice facilitators, relational educators, artists and rope teachers may all have something to bring. We are preparing Nine letters from the Sensual Institute: nine different capacities, small invitations to notice and experiment, paths into the Sensual Encyclopedia and selected titles from The Sensual Hero’s Journey.
Not nine versions of a rental pitch. The studio appears as a quiet possibility at the end of each letter. The series will unfold over about two months, and end after letter nine.
